Lord, Why Should We Pray?

Extract from our Weekly Bulletin

April 17, 2016

Today more than ever we need to be together, we need to be united in the same Spirit. One day while I was praying, the Lord gave me a word “The Battle Gets Stronger, prepare to fight with Satan himself.”  I asked Him, “By myself Lord?” He answered me, “I’m preparing an army of intercession for the final battle, but you know what? They don’t all want to be part of it, not many people have understood this truth of mine,
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

I then asked Him “Lord, who should we fight for, Your Church?”

“Yes, you have to pray that the church wakes up, and understands that only she has the power and that I need her to show the world my love and power. So that the world can comprehend that I Am the creator of the universe, I have promised them that the gates of Hades shall not prevail against her (The Church)?” (Matthew 16:18)

“Lord, for your children?” I asked

“Yes, pray for my children. I cry at seeing the coldness with which they go to my meetings, the indifference with which they praise me (they believe that they’re praising me) because they do not think that I am there in the middle of them. Though I have said to them that where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20)

“Lord, for those who have drawn back from your way?” I asked He answered “For it would had been better for them not to have known the way of the righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them?” 2 Peter 2:21 He also says “Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him?” Hebrews 10:38

I then asked “Lord, for those who are not aware of the times that we’re living in?”

He answered “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them to all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 24: 37-39

“Lord, for those who are so proud to be humble?” I asked

Listen to what God says, “But he gives more grace. Therefore he says: ‘God resists the proud, But give grace to the humble” James 4:6.

“Lord, for those that don’t care who they step on as long as they rise up?” I asked

“You shall love your neighbour as yourself” Leviticus 19:18, and he also said “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another.” John 13:34

“Lord, for those that gossip without understanding the enormous damage that they do to their brothers and to your body?” I asked

1 John 3, read the whole chapter and please, don’t partake of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion), because if you have gossiped about your brother, you eat and drink judgment unto yourself. Go and apologise to them and then the Lord will forgive you.

Lord, for whom shall I pray? There is so much need in your people.

Please help me to pray for so many needs that are in the people of God. That these simple words, born in the deepness of my heart, may be able to echo in your heart and help me to pray.

God Bless You,
