Satan’s Purpose is that You Ignore the Will of God
Satan attacks the Word of God because it shows the divine Will.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. Psalms 119:105.
I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart. Psalms 40:8.
If we are separated from the Word of God, we cannot understand his will properly. And the divine will is the expression of his love towards us.
But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Psalms 33:11.
The will of God is born in his own heart. It is not about anything impersonal, but of something that for the Lord is very personal.
He has a personal comprehension of each of his sons and daughters, of their nature, their names, and their acts, according to which he works his plans within them.
God desires us to know his will. Then he said: The God of our fathers has chosen you to know his will. Acts 22: 14.
God’s desire is that we may comprehend His will, Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Ephesians 5:17.
He wants that comprehension of his Will to fill us and direct us.
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Colossians 1:9.
The result of all this is so that the believers live: doing the will of God from your heart. Ephesians 6:6
The Will of God is not an obligation, but a delight. The Christian rejoices in discovering God’s will, obeying it with his whole heart.
The Will of God is what nourishes him. My food, said Jesus, is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. John 4:34.
You and I must pray (as Epaphras did) so that we: may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured. Colossians 4:12 If Satan manages to achieve that you do not know God’s will, he will snatch away all the glorious blessings that God has prepared for your life.
You may make wrong decisions, you may be immersed in sinful activities and may take on an erroneous life style. And, as sad it is to say it, you will influence others to also practise evil!
Throughout my ministry of the Word, in many places, I have seen the tragic consequences of living outside God’s will.
The Christians, who ignore the divine will, will miss out on enjoying the peace and the power of God.
They will neither grow to their maximum potential, nor will they be able to obtain what God has planned for them.
Instead of travelling in first class, they end up on second or third, complaining during the whole trip.
They live as beggars, because they have isolated themselves from the great riches of God. And to see their lives passing by (worse still: they waste them!) instead of investing them.
The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. 1 John 2:17.
Dear brother and sister, please pay attention.
These are attacks from the devil that come into our life and we’re not able to discern them.
Many times it is incredible how he manages to snatch away many of the blessings that God has for us and it is just for not seeking God’s will.
May God help us to understand his perfect will for our lives.
